| Charles John Witcomb (born around 1830) was a professional photographer who established himself in Salisbury, Wiltshire, during the mid-nineteenth century. The 1861 census records him as a tobacconist, stationer and photographer living in Milford Street, Salisbury. By 1871, photography had become his principal occupation, and by 1881 he was based at 10 Catherine Street, which became his principal studio. |
